Armor for Sleep Announce 'What to Do When You Are Dead' Tour

Who's ready for an Armor for Sleep reunion?

Call off the search, the band are back for 2020 with a tour celebrating the 15th anniversary of their second album, 2005's What to Do When You Are Dead. The emo-pop rockers head out this summer for an extensive trek celebrating the effort. See all the dates down toward the bottom of this post.

Tickets for Armor for Sleep's return to the road go on sale this Friday (Feb. 28) at 10 AM local time. The anniversary tour was announced Monday (Feb. 24) by both Equal Vision Records — the label that originally released the album — and the band. Armor for Sleep also shared a statement regarding the tour.

"We are very excited to announce that we will be playing a slew of shows to celebrate the 15 year anniversary of 'What To Do When You Are Dead,'" the group explained. "Thank you guys sincerely for listening throughout the years — it really has meant the world to us. We are stoked to see all of you again…"

In 2005, What to Do When You Are Dead spawned a music video for "Car Underwater." The album followed Armor for Sleep's debut, Dream to Make Believe. The band released Smile for Them in 2007 before breaking up two years later. A 10th-anniversary tour behind What to Do occurred in 2015.

Armor for Sleep fans' curiosity was piqued late last week when the band shared a cryptic teaser clip hinting at the renewed activity. The video contains a brief bit of music among static-infused Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers color bars.
