Pop-punks State Champs have today (Mar. 26) announced that guitarist Tony Diaz has parted ways with the band.

In a statement, the New Yorkers stated that the decision came "after some soul searching and much deliberation."

Diaz has also released a statement where he thanks both the remaining members of State Champs and their fans for the "patience, love and support" shown to him throughout his time with the band. State Champs have also confirmed they'll continue on as a four-piece.

State Champs' last full-length, Living Proof, came out in 2018, with a new album expected later this year. More recently, they teamed up with Simple Plan and We the Kings for the single "Where I Belong."
