Emo heroes Senses Fail will begin recording their upcoming eighth album within the next two weeks, according to a post from the band’s Twitter page.

In a tweet posted yesterday (Feb. 9), the five-piece stated, “We start recording the next record in about two weeks. It’s crunch time. We’ve been working on it for about a year and is by far the most amount of time we’ve put into any one record.”

Better yet, Senses Fail also confirmed they’ll be recording with Saosin guitarist Beau Burchell, who produced their previous album, 2018’s If There Is Light, It Will Find You. Burchell has also helmed records by Moose Blood and Bayside.

Check out the band’s announcement below:

Senses Fail will tour with Bayside, Hawthorne Heights and Can’t Swim from May through July.

Any new music would mark the first we’ve heard from Buddy Nielsen and co. since last year’s reimagining of their 2003 EP From the Depths of Dreams.
