Falling In Reverse guitarist Derek Jones died yesterday, April 22. In tribute, we put together an additional episode of the podcast that runs through Derek's career from beginning to current day.

Many people don't know that Jones also was a member of post-hardcore band A Smile From the Trenches and, for a brief period, performed in The Agony Scene.

Afterward, he officially joined Falling In Reverse in 2010 and was actually the person who picked up Ronnie Radke from jail on the day he was released.

He had relocated to Las Vegas in 2010 a few months before Radke's release from prison with the intention of starting Falling in Reverse together later in the year. Less than two years later, the group had landed a record deal with Epitaph and released their debut album, The Drug In Me Is You, in the summer of 2011. Falling in Reverse's fourth album, Coming Home, came out in 2017.
