Metalcore mainstays Atreyu appear to be working on a new album with Blink-182's Mark Hoppus and Goldfinger frontman/super-producer John Feldmann.

In a photo posted to the band's Instagram page yesterday (Jan. 30), Atreyu were pictured in the studio alongside Hoppus and Feldmann, with the caption reading "2020 is already off to a great start."

Hoppus is no stranger to the producer role, having helmed records by New Found Glory, Fall Out Boy and Motion City Soundtrack, whose Hoppus-produced LP My Dinosaur Life was recently featured in our list of 25 scene albums turning 10 this year. Feldmann, meanwhile has worked with basically everyone in the scene, including Black Veil Brides, Good Charlotte and All Time Low.

Earlier this month, Atreyu dropped a new song, "Battle Drums," a collaboration with DJ Kayzo, who has remixed tracks by the likes of Papa Roach and Yungblud.

Atreyu's last album, In Our Wake, came out in 2018. The band will tour Australia in February, but that aside their schedule looks pretty clear, so it wouldn't be surprising to see a new record before the year is out.
